Weddings are such personal and special occasions. Some couples spend years planning them, and others only a few weeks – but however long it takes, you want it to be a memorable and happy day.
At The Hill our event team are happy to help you plan your perfect day and there are lots of options to make it personal at The Hill. From room and table decorations to food and drink. Here are a few options and ideas from our team.
1. The ceremony. If you want a grand entrance for your wedding day then come and see our Grand Lodge Room, designed for official Mason’s meetings, with its spectacular and unique design. If you prefer something simple, then we are licensed to have ceremonies in our main venue space, which can be decorated and transformed into a lovely space for a ceremony, with aisle and seating for guests.
2. The styling. At The Hill, the neutral décor and large spaces lend themselves to you putting your own touch on the style. The building itself has historic and traditional features, such as the stonework outside and tiling in hallways. Large windows give the main room lots of light. Natural, English flower designs look beautiful in this room if you like a rustic feel – but you can also transform it with glitz and glamour if you wish!
3. Food and drink. Our catering partners Berry Blue are an award-winning local caterer who can supply a whole range of food and drink options, to formal sit-down dinners, to more informal fork buffets, barbecues and afternoon tea. Popular at the moment are grazing boards and antipasti platters.
